Cancellations Policy
At Dirty Dogs Huyton, we understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel or reschedule your dog’s grooming appointment. To keep things fair for all our customers and to ensure we can run our diary smoothly, we have the following cancellation policy:
1. Notice Period
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
This allows us to offer the space to another client and keep our schedule running efficiently.
2. Late Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a charge of 50% of the booked service fee.
Repeated late cancellations may result in us requesting full payment in advance for future bookings.
3. No-Shows (Missed Appointments)
If you do not attend your appointment without giving notice, the full service fee will still be charged.
Future appointments may need to be secured with a deposit.
4. Deposits (if applicable)
For certain services or new customers, we may request a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
Deposits will be deducted from the final bill on the day of your appointment.
5. Arriving Late
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may not have enough time to complete the full groom. In such cases:
A shortened service may be provided at the full price, or
The appointment may need to be rescheduled and a late cancellation fee applied.
6. Cancellations by Dirty Dogs Huyton
On rare occasions, we may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment (e.g. due to staff illness, emergencies, or equipment failure).
If this happens, we will give you as much notice as possible and rearrange your appointment at a time that suits you.
No cancellation fees will apply in these circumstances.
